The History
Partec, pioneer in flow cytometry, has more than 30 years
of experience in developing innovative instrumentation in the area of
flow cytometry. In 1969 the first commercial flow cytometer, the
ICP-11/ICP-22 family of flow cytometers was developed and distributed by
Partec and Phywe, Germany. From the very beginning Partec flow
cytometers have been used in research, clinical and industrial
applications all over the world. It was one of the company's main
policies to closely connect the users' requirements in FCM to the
rapidly growing potential of new technical developments. Moreover,
Partec is pushing forward FCM to new frontiers.
